트위터 피드에서 ZK가 사라지는 날
2023년, 수많은 블록체인 리서처들은 계정추상화(Account abstraction)에 대해 리포트를 작성했습니다. 트위터 피드는 계정추상화 이야기로 뒤덮혔던 떄도 있습니다.
하지만 그당시 실제로 계정추상화가 쓰이는 곳은 거의 없었습니다.
오늘날 계정추상화는 쓰이지 않는 곳을 찾아보는게 더 어렵습니다. @vooi_io 와 같은 퍼프덱스들, 각종 월렛들, Kaito의 스마트 월렛도 계정추상화를 사용해 만들어졌습니다.
하지만 이에 대해 논의하고 홍보하는 사람은 찾아보기 힘듭니다.
이처럼 기술은 굳이 설명이 필요 없을 때, 이 기술이 좋다고 떠들어대지 않아도 될 때가 찾아옵니다. 이미 산업의 다양한 곳에서 깊게 쓰이고 있으니까요.
ZK도 마찬가지입니다.
지금은 @brevis_zk 등 ZK를 연구하는 팀이나 @billions_ntwk 와 같이 기술을 활용하려는 팀이나 너나할것 없이 모두가 나서 ZK가 어디에 쓰일수 있는지, 이게 왜 좋은지 홍보합니다.
ZK의 발전이 가장 간절한 이더리움은 비탈릭이나 재단 전체가 나서서 수도 없이 떠들고있죠.
하지만 언제가 되었든 트위터 피드에서 ZK라는 이야기가 사라진다면, 그때는 이미 ZK가 블록체인과 우리 삶 깊숙한 곳에 자리를 잡게 된 때일 것입니다.
그리고 그시점은 이제 더이상 우리에게는 기회가 없을 것이고요.
