It is not that it is cheap to manipulate prediction markets, it is that the way prediction markets are spoken about makes them more powerful propaganda tools than most media that came before it. The people who are incentivized to manipulate perception are thrilled that it’s become easier to do so with money they otherwise would have spent on PACs, media, and other forms of trying to change perception.
this is the issue @aeyakovenko, not that it won’t cost a ton of money but people with money are more than happy to spend that money to try and shape opinions (Elon spent $40B+)
